Sterilization Processes Control
ACCESORIES FOR STERILIZATION –BIOLOGICAL INDICATORS

Self-contained system for Ethylene Oxide BT10
- - BT10 biological indicators are designed to control Ethylene Oxide sterilization cycles.
- - Bacillus atrophaeus ATCC 9372. 106 spores per vial
- - Color changes from blue to yellow, incubation at 37 ° C.
- - Final reading after 48 hours.
- - 30/100 vials per box.
- - Each indicator has a spores population of Bacillus atrophaeus ATCC 9372 embedded in the carrier.
- - The broth has a deep blue color that changes to yellow if the sterilization process was not satisfactory.
- - The BT10 indicator should be incubated at 37° C for a maximum period of 48 hours to get the final reading.
Self-contained system for Steam BT20
- - BT20 biological indicators are designed to control steam sterilization cycles
- - Geobacillus stearotermophilus ATCC 7953, 105 or 106 spores per vial.
- - Color changes from purple to yellow, incubation at 56/59º C, 24 hours
- - Final Reading after 24 hours
- - 30/100 vials per box.
- - Each indicator has a spores population of Geobacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953 embedded in the carrier.
- - The broth has a deep purple color that changes to yellow by spores growth
- - The BT20 indicator should be incubated at 56/59° C for a maximum period of 24 hours to get the final reading.
ACCESSORIES FOR STERILIZATION – EO STERILIZATION INDICATORS

- - The CD10 multivariable indicators consist of 110 x 17 mm strips. The ink indicator senses the sterilization process critical parameters such as temperature, gas concentration, humidity and time.
- - The CD10 chemical indicators change to green if the 600 mg/L of ethylene oxide at 30° C and 60% RH for 40 minutes conditions are met.
- - Standard reference printed on each integrator - easy interpretation
- - These indicators were designed to be used in sterilization packets and/or sectors of the sterilization chamber considered hard to get for the sterilizing agent, steam in this case.
- - The CD10 are chemical indicators class 4 (EN ISO 11140-1)
- - Box of 500 strips
ACCESSORIES FOR STERILIZATION – STEAM STERILIZATION INDICATORS

- - The CD20 multivariable indicators consist of 110 x 17 mm cardboard strips. Printed with reactive ink able to sense the critical variables (temperature, steam and time) of steam sterilization processes.
- - CD20 chemical indicators change from dark blue to orange in a process of steam sterilization at 121° C for 15 minutes or 134° C for 3.5 minutes.
- - Standard reference printed on each integrator - easy interpretation
- - These indicators were designed to be used in sterilization packets and/or sectors of the sterilization chamber considered hard to get for the sterilizing agent, steam in this case.
- - They can be used on any steam sterilization equipment as well as steam sterilizers vacuum assisted and sterilizers by gravity air displacement.
- - The CD20 are chemical indicators class 4 (EN ISO 11140-1)
- - Box of 500 strips
BOWIE DICK TEST

- - Test package of Bowie & Dick for detection of air evacuation and steam penetration. 134° C 3.5 minutes
- - Presentations: BD125X/2: 140/150 sheets. 1.6 cm high. BD125X: 210/220 sheets. 2.6 cm high. BD125X/3: 395/405 sheets. 3.6 cm high.
- - During the pre-vacuum cycle, the air must be removed from the chamber and replaced by steam through the package.
- - Test kits containing paper sheets that act as physical barrier. In between these lies the laminated sheet of chemical indicator printed with inks.
- - A uniform change of color ink from yellow to black throughout the test sheet checks the effectiveness of air removal and steam penetration.
- - A heterogeneous color change or no color change may reveal the steam poor quality, steam superheated or the existence of non-condensable gases in the steam device.
- - The non-uniform color changes make necessary the evaluation of the sterilizing equipment and a new Bowie & Dick test.
